After Opening The Endeca Dashboard, When Navigating Back To EBS Forms Get A Connection Error

On : 12.1.3 version, V5 Integration and Internet Explorer version 11.
When attempting to navigate back to EBS forms after opening Endeca dashboard without first closing the dashboard,
the following error occurs.
From the application log:
Unable to switch to Working Directory: /u04/oracle/TEST4/apps/tech_st/10.1.3/forms
15/09/02 10:44:15.686 formsweb: Forms session failed during startup: no response from runtime process
From the java console
The Java plugin console displays this error when the issues occurs:
Forms Applet version is : 10.1.2.3
Reconnecting (try 1 of 5)...
Reconnecting (try 2 of 5)...
Reconnecting (try 3 of 5)...
Reconnecting (try 4 of 5)...
Reconnecting (try 5 of 5)...
at oracle.forms.net.ConnectionException.createConnectionException(Unknown Source)
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Launch the Receivables Endeca dashboard
2. Now go back and try to open the EBS forms without first closing the dashboard. The intent is to have both open.
3. Get the error. Have to close the dashboard first or when the error occurs will have to close out the browsers and log back in.
Does not occur with Firefox or Chrome.
