Information in this document applies to any platform.
User trying to perform the inquiry for summary account for a period say OCT-15.
When Show Balance is selected for summary account, there is no data returned.
But when Detail Balance is selected , form showing the Detail account journal entries.
These are detail accounts related to the parent used in summary account. Form showing
detail balances and not showing the summary balance for the summary account
1. Log into General ledger
2. Navigate to Inquiry-Account
3. Perform the inquiry for the summary Account
4. Select Show Balances
5. Select Detail Balance for Show Balance form
