Symptoms

On Oracle Applications 12.1.3, Data Template

Actual Behavior
The XML file is losing the Chinese characters (template .XSL and data definition .RDF file )

Have a custom concurrent report. that data definition is of .RDF file and template is .XSL,
but the output is a XML (worksheet)

Generation from .RDF report (pulls the information fine and the file.out) where this is ok with characters, but when it is passed to the template .XML, it's losing the Chinese characters.

Expected Behavior:
Expect Chinese characters to still be present.


The issue has the following business impact:
The output not converted properly.
