GTM_TRANSACTION and GTM_TRANSACTION_LINE Manager Layout Create/Edit Screens Missing 'Quantity' and 'User-Defined Code' Sections (Doc ID 2101670.1)

Last updated on JULY 20, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Global Trade Management - Version 6.3.6 to 6.4.2 [Release 6.3 to 6.4]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When attempting to create (copy) a new Manager Layout from an existing PUBLIC one (for GTM_TRANSACTION and GTM_TRANSACTION_LINE), or when attempting to EDIT an existing Manager Layout, there are several sections that are missing.  The 'Quantity' and 'User-defined Code' sections are both missing.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
The 'Quantity' and 'User-defined Code' sections were expected to be visible/movable/editable in the same way that 'Involved Parties' section currently is within the manager layout, however, they were both missing.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Go to Configuration and User Administration -> User Configuration -> Manager Layout
2. Search for and copy the PUBLIC manager layout GTM_TRANSACTION (GTM_TRANSACTION_LINE can also be used).
3. Save and name the copied manager layout
3. Go to the Detail tab
4. The 'Quantity' and 'User-defined Code' grid sections are both missing.
