Symptoms

When trying to access a report that was set up as a menu item from Report Manager, the following error occurs on the page. The same issue may occur in the standard submission of the reports, where the user saves the report to the Repository, then tries to access the report once the run is complete.

 

You have insufficient privileges for the current operation. Please contact your System Administrator

 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Report Manager Responsibility > Identify a report saved as a menu item
  2. Click on the menu item to open the report
  3. See the error on the page
  4. OR else, from the same responsibility > open the Report Manager submission page (Financial Report Submission)
  5. Submit a Financial Statement Generator (FSG) report by entering all the parameters > Select a Repository folder
  6. Monitor its completion > Attempt to open > See this errors out

Changes

 New responsibility defined; or critical patching update performed, as indicated below; or new menu item created to open reports from multiple responsibilities that may or may not have access to the Repository.
