Goal
Where should we place the LightWriteback element in the instanceconfig.xml?
It currently does not exist in the instanceconfig.xml and when placing it in the incorrect area of the xml file, it results in the BI presentation services to fail to start.
The following section of the OTM 6.4.1 installation guide doesn't detail where to add the LightWriteback element.
Next, you need to edit the instanceconfig.xml file to enable the write back functionality in OBIEE.
2. Modify the instanceconfig.xml as follows:
a. Open the file:
b. Change the following tag false to true: true.
Note: If the .xml file does not contain the tag, add it manually: true.
