APP-PAY-07251: Different payroll components When Defining QuickPay (Doc ID 2113431.1)

Symptoms

Problem Statement:

When defining the QuickPay, following error occurs.

APP-PAY-07251 : Different payroll components.

You have tried to define QuickPay for an assignment that has different payroll components for Date Earned and Date Paid.  The assignment must be to the same payroll for both dates.

 

Steps to Reproduce:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Change the assignment payroll for exampl: On 1/26/2016 from XXBi-Weekly to XXMonthly.
       XXBi-Weekly payroll period = 1/24/2016 - 2/6/2016
       XXMonthly payroll period  = 1/1/2016 - 1/31/2016

  2. Open the QuickPay form and enter the following dates.
       Date Paid: 1/31/2016
       Date Earned: 1/25/2016

  3. Error occurs.
