Problem Statement:

"Generic Upgrade Mechanism" for Update Student Loan Details fails with the following error.

HR_6881_HRPROC_ORA_ERR
SQLERRMC ORA-00001: unique constraint (HR.PAY_ELEMENT_ENTRY_VALUES_F_PK) violated
ORA-06512: at "APPS.PAY_ARCHIVE", line 1207
ORA-06512: at line 3

 

Steps to Reproduce:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1.  Apply patch that contains Student Loan Changes (e.g. 21507198, 22810386).
  2.  Run "Generic Upgrade Mechanism" for Update Student Loan Details.
  3.  Request fails with the error.
