UKBEN: Explanation of Sickness Band1 Entitlements for 4 on 4 off Employees (Doc ID 2125786.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 05, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle HRMS (UK) - Version 11.5.10.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 11.5.10.2 version, UK Absences OSP/OMP

An employee has a work pattern of 4 On 4 Off and no FTE set-up.  When enrolling in an absence scheme with entitlement of 60 days for their length of service, the FTE is being calculated as 0.7.  This means the employee is getting 42 days, not 60 (Actual Entitlement Days = 60 * 0.7 = 42 Days) and the incorrect value is stored in PQP table.

Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Enter employee with no FTE.
2. Enter and enroll absence.
3. Review entitlement table.
