Attempting to Plan Upline Shipment When Downline Shipment Already Planned Fails In a Network Itinerary Configuration
(Doc ID 2125824.1)
Last updated on JULY 20, 2024
Applies to:
Oracle Transportation Operational Planning - Version 6.3.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
A two-leg itinerary is configured using a Network.
Order Releases are to be planned on this two-leg itinerary. First Order Movements are created to create Network Routable Order Movements (2 for each order, as one for each itinerary leg). If the second leg Order Movements are planned first, when the first leg Order Movements are attempted to be planned, they fail to plan. In contrast, if all order movements are planned at the same time (or Order Releases directly planned), the planning of both legs succeeds.
