BI Publisher Session Timeout Changes in File xmlpserver.ear Do Not Take Effect When Implemented Via the WebLogic Console Due to Error 'Unresolved WebApp library references defined in weblogic.xml, of module xmlpserver.war' (Doc ID 2126868.1)

Symptoms

Business Intelligence Publisher 12.2.1, Enterprise Administration and System Configuration issues

 

 

 



Users are unable to change the session timeout from 20 min to 60 via the steps in BIP <Note 1546377.1> section: 'How To Change The Session Timeout In Oracle BI Publisher 11g'.

After updating the xmlpserver.ear file per the documented steps, the file fails to deploy in the WLS Console with the below error:


'Unresolved WebApp library references defined in weblogic.xml, of module 'xmlpserver.war' [Extension-Name: jsf, Specification-Version: 1.2, exact-match: true].>
If you are running AppMerge on the command-line, merge again with the -verbose option for more details. See the error message(s) below.>
weblogic.utils.compiler.ToolFailureException: oracle.as.scheduler.ejb.AsyncRequestBean'
