WIP_FLOW_SCHEDULES with records in MTL_MATERIAL_TRANSACTIONS tables with Error Record not found in WIP_PERIOD_BALANCES Table (Doc ID 2134831.1)

Symptoms

 

When viewing materials transactions, observed erred transactions with any of the following error message in relation to WOLC - Work OrderLess Completions / Flow Schedules:

No balance exists for the appropriate period for the job/schedule
Record not found in WIP_PERIOD_BALANCE
The wip entity is either not defined or does not have a period balance entry.
CST_INVALID_WIP


The issue can be observed with any of the below steps:

1. observe erred transactions in the form Material Transactions

2. observe erred transactions in the following script:

For Material Transactions, the below query output displays one of the errors mentioned above.
