Unable To Conduct AMP Discovery When The Database Naming Convention Includes The '_' Symbol

Symptoms
Not able to conduct Auto Discovery with database having the "_" symbol as part of the DB name.
All of our Databases are named as "DB_xxxxxx".
ERROR

Caused By: oracle.apps.fnd.oam.em.sdk.targetData.discovery.AppsDiscoveryException: Error while attempting to discover EBS on : <DB_xxxxxx>( oracle_database )
Caused By: oracle.apps.ebs.amp.oms.discovery.discoverer.AppsDiscoveryException: Exception while validating existing EBS target names for the given DB details.
Caused By: oracle.apps.ebs.amp.oms.discovery.discoverer.AppsDiscoveryException: Database Target name should not contain either '-' or '_'. Please add database with proper name & then try discovery
