Goal

In case of a setup with one ledger and multiple legal entities having the balancing segment assigned to each Legal Entity and GL Data sets created for every Legal Entity and assigned to AP responsibility.
When try to enter transactions for Payables, or other modules, you have the possibility to select every value (Company Segment) and save without any restrictions.
The system did not restrict the selection of accounts for which GL Data set has been created.

This can cause issues with the Create Accounting for AP transactions, because the process end in error: 95288. “Based upon your access set setup, You do not have write access to the balancing segment AAA used by line x. Please use a different balancing segment value or request that your system administrator or support representive update your security.”
