Last updated on FEBRUARY 01, 2023

Oracle Internet Expenses - Version 12.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Oracle Fusion Mobile Expenses
Policy Violation
Meals Policy

Symptoms

In the online Internet Expenses Self Service Web Application (SSWA), a user creates a one line expense with the following details:
- Expense Type = Meals Allowance Overseas ($70/day)
- Amount = 100

On the Review page the user sees the following message:

'Warning, this expense report contains policy violations'

In the Fusion mobile expense app the user creates the same expense line (Expense Type = Meals Allowance Overseas ($70/day), Amount = 100), however, they see no warning
and can submit the report successfully without error.

When the user accesses the online application and clicks the report (that was submitted via mobile app) - the user then sees the warning as well.

The users expect to see a warning in the mobile app when they submit an expense that violates the Meals Policy.
