Last updated on MAY 06, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Payroll - Version 11.5.10.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

PYUGEN Payroll Processes(e.g. Payroll Run, QuickPay, BEE Batch Process..etc) can be run with multiple threads. When enabling SQL trace and run the program with multiple threads, multiple raw SQL trace files (.trc) are created for each threads(Parent and Child processes -Payroll Worker Process).

This document explains how to combine all the raw SQL trace files into a single raw SQL trace file, and create a single TKPROF'ed file. This is useful when finding the most expensive query in all threads for performance investigation.
