Employee has an Assignment for Status Terminate Assignment but no Effective End Date
Employee was rehired, however when HR rehired the employee they were to be Final Processed 5/15/2016 and Rehired effective 5/16/2016, the incorrectly had Final Processed the Employee 5/18/2016 and then Rehired the employee.
To correct they changed the Rehire Date / Latest Start Date, the Final Process Date was changed to 5/16/2016 and the Latest Start Date to 5/16/2016 (this is correct) and the rehired employee's -3 assignment was created effective 5/16/2016.
However, it has been found that another -2 assignment was also created effective 5/16/2016 with the status of Terminate Assignment - we do not want or need this -2 assignment since the original assignment is correctly end dated 5/15/2015.
How do we correct/remove the active -2 assignment, can we delete it, the 'Red X' - Delete Icon is enabled.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Final Process the Employee on the incorrect date.
2. Rehire the employee on the incorrect date
3. Alter the "Latest Start Date" on the people form
4. Note the assignment form shows an extra (-2) assignment - this is what is unwanted.
