Deleting Assignment Set Throws the Error "child rows exist" (Doc ID 2174859.1)

Symptoms

Problem Statement:

Deleting assignment set in the "Manage Assignment Set" page throws the following error.

You cannot perform a delete operation when child rows exist Cause: You are doing a delete operation where dependent child rows exist for HR_ASSIGNMENT_SETS .

 

 

Steps to Reproduce:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1.  Go to the Self Service "Manage Assignment Set" page.  (Function "Manage Assignment Set" needs to be added in the menu. This function is delivered in HR_PF.B RUP9)
  2.  Search for the assignment set.
  3.  Click on the delete button.
  4.  Click OK in the warning page.
  5.  Error occurs.
