Last updated on JANUARY 24, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Assets - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Partial Retirement took full NBV Retired amount at time of back-dated partial retirement. This has caused Accumulated Depreciation to be negative.

Example:

Asset has current Cost and Accumulated Depreciation of $400.

When user enters a 50% partial retirement to retire $200 of cost and Accumulated Depreciation (Reserve), The retirement took the full $400 instead of partial retirement portion $-200. Thus Accumulated Depreciation is left at $-200
