Task Email Notification Not Going To Email ID Defined In Group Resource Form

On : 12.0.6 version, Tasks Integration
We have set Task Manager: Send notifications to Group and Team members at the Site level to 'Yes" but still the task notification is not going to the Group Email ID
For example, there are 5 resources in the group and all have a valid Email id.
We enter an email id (for example a personal email id via the 'CRM Resource Manager > Maintain Resources > Groups' > in the 'group' email field.
Please advise if email notification will be sent to group email address, in this case the email id that is entered into the email address defined in the 'CRM Resource Manager > Maintain Resources > Groups' > in the 'group' email field instead of sending it to individual users?
