R12 Mass Additions Create Brings Up Invoices Related To Different FA Book Not in Operating Unit (Doc ID 2186068.1)

Symptoms

The user is running Mass Additions Create and did not enter an asset book in the lines / distributions.  The expectation is that Mass Additions Create will import only for the asset books in the operating unit specified in the MO: Operating Unit profile option for the responsibility used to run the program.  This was the behavior in R11i but is not what is occurring in R12.

When MO: Operating Unit is set (and MO: Security Profile is not set), the expectation is that data from other operating units are secured and should be not processed by the Mass Addition Create program.  However, the program is fetching all data from all operating units attached to the same GL ledger.  The user expected that, when the security access is set to a single operating unit, the program wold process data in this operating unit only.
