OTM Not Planning Shipment With The Cheapest Cost Equipment Group When Available (Doc ID 2187523.1)

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

An order is planned onto a shipment using the bulk plan action. There are several valid equipment assignments (within the same equipment group profile) and service providers that can service the shipment. When planning the shipment, OTM is not selecting the cheapest cost equipment to be used.

If the order is constrained to the desired equipment group (cheapest option), the shipment is planned with the desired result.


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

It is expected that OTM select the cheapest cost equipment for the shipment without having to constrain the order.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

1. Bulk plan an order within a lane that contains multiple options for equipment assignments with varying rates (with all equipment options within the same equipment group profile).
2. The resulting shipment will be planned with an equipment that is not the cheapest option.
