Error Updating Employee Record After Event Alert Triggered: APP-PAY-07114: Oracle error ORA-01023: Cursor context not found (Invalid cursor number) (Doc ID 2188423.1)

Symptoms

After verifying and running an event alert, user gets an error message when accessing an employee's assignment record. The error received is

APP-PAY-07114: Oracle error ORA-01023: Cursor context not found (Invalid cursor number)


STEPS
-----------------------
1. Responsibility: Alert Manager Navigation: Alert -> Define Alert

2. Navigate to People -> Enter and Maintain ; do not date track. Find an employee  and click on Assignment. You should see the assignment form. Close all forms.

3. Go back to Alert Manager and query the alert Indexes near maximum Extents.

4. Click Verify again and close the decision box that pops up.

5. Close the form and change responsibility to "US Super HRMS Manager

6. Navigate to People -> Enter and Maintain

7. Find an employee and click on Assignment. Getting error APP-PAY-07114: Oracle error ORA-01023: Cursor context not found
