Goal

E-Business Suite R12 Workflow, Workflow Administration OAM Pages

Is it possible to process Actions (i.e. Approve, Reject, Reassign) on the Status Monitor page after restricting user workflow access?

Following the steps in <Note 559072.1> - How to Restrict Access to Data in the Workflow Monitor based on Item Types? (Doc ID 559072.1) the administrator restricted the status monitor to only display the workflow types a user needs to access.

With the restrictions from <Note 559072.1> implemented the following options are not possible:

a) have access to specific workflow items for ALL users

b) be able to act on notification associated with these items.

Some sites would like to allow users to reassign the notification, and approve / reject the notification using the buttons in the status monitor (the buttons are not visible after opening the notification).

The requirements may include the ability to restrict what a user can view in the status monitor using the workflow process_name, ItemType, etc.
