Symptoms
On : 12.1.3 version, Person / Assignment Issues
When attempting to end a second primary assignment the following error occurs.
ERROR

FRM-40200: Field is protected against update
STEPS
-----------------------
1) People > Enter and Maintain form
2) Click on Assignment form
Several Scenarios attempted
a. Changing the Assignment Status to "End".
b. Changing the Assignment Status to "Terminate Assignment".
c. Using the "X" button to delete the assignment.
The result of trying #a and #b = s that it immediately pops up a message box "Cannot Terminate or End a Primary Assignment - Status will be reset.", and the status changes back to "Active".
The result of trying #c = is that the only option it gives is to Purge the assignment completely, which we don't want - we just want to end-date it.
