Journal Approval
AME Parallel Approval Subprocess
Symptoms
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
When checked the workflow in Status monitor for a specific journal upon Internal name GLBATCH and Workflow owned by the specific initiator,
noticed that some activities are not shown, misleading that the workflow did not end.
However when searched with option All employees and users, workflow subprocess "AME Parallel Approval Subprocess" is also shown in activity list with Owned by blank.
Approval of the journals through the notification created by sub-workflow "AME Parallel Approval Subprocess" is working fine.
Similar issue in Payables (AP) AME: in AP Invoice Approval through AME the "AP Invoice Approval" workflow (APINVAPR) has no workflow owner.
When anyone from an office submit AP Invoice for approval the supervisor doesn't know who sent AP invoice approval request.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR:
It is expected that "AME Parallel Approval Subprocess" to be owned by the user who initiated the "GL Journal Approval Process" workflow.
STEPS:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Setup AME journal approval
2. Go to General Ledger responsibility
3. Navigate to Journals > Enter > enter the journal details
4. Hit Approve to submit the journal batch for approval
5. Check the workflow activities for the batch
