Symptoms
Problem Statement:
If there is a future dated record(started and ended in the future date), creating a new record with the same combination cannot be saved.
Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Go to "Assign Security Profiles" form.
(N) Security > Assign Security Profile - Search for the user.
Supposed there is a future dated record as follows.
User: USER1
Application: Human Resources
Responsibility: XXHRMS Manager
Business Group: XXBG
Security Profile: XXProfile
Start Date: 01-01-2030 (future date)
End Date: 01-01-2030 (future date) - Create a new record with the same combination as above with different date.
User: USER1
Application: Human Resources
Responsibility: XXHRMS Manager
Business Group: XXBG
Security Profile: XXProfile
Start Date: 01-01-2016
End Date: - New record cannot be saved. No error occurs.
