Unable to Save the Record in Assign Security Profiles Form (PERWSASP) (Doc ID 2201099.1)

Symptoms

Problem Statement:

If there is a future dated record(started and ended in the future date), creating a new record with the same combination cannot be saved.

 

Steps to Reproduce:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Go to "Assign Security Profiles" form.
    (N) Security > Assign Security Profile

  2.  Search for the user.
     Supposed there is a future dated record as follows.
     
     User: USER1
     Application: Human Resources
     Responsibility: XXHRMS Manager
     Business Group: XXBG
     Security Profile: XXProfile
     Start Date:  01-01-2030 (future date)
     End Date: 01-01-2030 (future date)

  3.  Create a new record with the same combination as above with different date.

     User: USER1
     Application: Human Resources
     Responsibility: XXHRMS Manager
     Business Group: XXBG
     Security Profile: XXProfile
     Start Date:  01-01-2016
     End Date:

  4.  New record cannot be saved. No error occurs.
