Symptoms
After the database has been upgraded to database version 12.1.0.2, Journal Posting (GLPPOS) runs slowly in module glpubr.
Note GLPPOS After DB Upgrade to 11.2.0.4.0 or 12.1.0.1 or 12.1.0.2 Posting Program Has Poor Performance Stuck in Glpubr Module (Doc ID 1602141.1) was followed and appropriate patches applied and workaround attempted and this has not changed the behavior.
The Program: GL Optimizer program has been run with Yes/Yes as parameters and the Gather Schema Stats program for GL and APPS schema at 30%, and the issue remains.
If there is data in the gl_bc_packets table, ensure that the program Budgetary Control Optimizer program has also been run.
