Symptoms

The following error occurs in the file "pqpgbomt.sql" when applying the patch:21980909 (HRMS 12.1 RUP9). This issue also happen when applying patch 25026041.

ERROR at line 1:
ORA-20001: PAY_50068_ETM_GEN_FF_TOO_LONG: N, BASE_NAME, , N, LENGTH, 32767
ORA-06512: at "APPS.PAY_ELEMENT_TEMPLATE_API", line 850
ORA-06512: at line 257

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1.  Apply patch 21980909 (RUP9)
