Symptoms

E-Business Suite 12.2 Applications Technology Stack, WebLogic Server issues

E-Business Suite end users report their sessions respond slowly, or timeout frequently on a regular basis.

The managed server processes are spawning a process via command  'jmap -heap <pid>' periodically.

The spawning of this process can cause very high CPU utilization on the application tier nodes (web tier), and severe performance issues for user login / access to E-Business Suite.

Changes

 EBS application tier has recently been upgraded or configured with JDK version 7 on FMW Home version 11.1.1.7.
