Trip And Delivery Remain In-Transit Status After Ship Confirm With Error Stop XXX On Trip ZZZ Is Not Closed And Is Prior To The Stop YYY On Trip ZZZ (Doc ID 2224873.1)

Symptoms

While ship confirming the last delivery in the Trip with 'Close Trip' option and 'Ship to Deliver' workflow enabled, find that the Trip and Delivery are not 'Closed', but remain in 'In-Transit' status. Error in debug file as follows:

P_MODULE_NAME ==> wsh.plsql.WSH_TRIP_STOPS_VALIDATIONS.CHECK_STOP_CLOSE
msg_buffer ==> Stop XXXX on trip ZZZZ is not closed and is prior to the stop YYYY on trip ZZZZ.
Please close the previous stop or re-sequence the stops, if necessary.
