Flexfield Security Not Working as Expected - Segment Values That Are Not Restricted Error with Security Rule Message (Doc ID 222741.1)

Symptoms

Security not working as expected - segment values that are not restricted error with security rule message.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 

  1. General Ledger(GL) responsibility > Setup > Financials > Flexfields > Key > Security > Define
  2. Create new Security rules
  3. Try to enter transactions, for example a new GL journal: Journals > Enter
  4. See the values that are not secured error out using the security rule's message 

Changes

 New setup in place.
