Unable to update Supplier record associated with employee in a re-hire scenario.
Below error comes up when we try to update the vendor record associated with a employee who happens to be a re-hire:
 

ERROR
“Supplier record cannot be updated. Either the Employee ID/Info is incorrect or the employee associated with this supplier is terminated.”

STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Terminate Employee
2. At a future date, reenter the person into a different business group.
3. Attempt to update supplier record
4. Error is received
