Update Default Expense Account for Employees Errors "Supervisor is not valid for the duration of the assignment" on Assignment Form (Doc ID 2237658.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to update Default Expense Account for employees, the following error occurs on Assignment form:


ERROR
-----------------------
Supervisor is not valid for the duration of the assignment.



 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:


1. Using HRMS Manager responsibility.

2. Navigate to People > Enter and Maintain > Query employee.

3. Click on Assignment button > Go to Supervisor tab.

4. Error on Supervisor tab.

5. Go to Purchase Order Information tab > Get error.
