R12: Performance Issue When Querying Journals in Journal Inquiry Form (Doc ID 2238205.1)

Symptoms

Post upgrade, when querying Journals through GL Responsibility in Journal Inquiry form, for just a few Journals it is taking more than a minute to complete; during period closure time the proces is taking around 20-30 minutes.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Login into GL Responsibility
  2. Navigate to Inquiry -> Journals
  3. Enter the Period and maybe restrict to Unposted criteria only
  4. For 4-5 Journals observe this is taking more than a minute and it may take up to 30 minutes sometimes

Changes

Recently upgraded to current R12 version.
