Symptoms

E-Business Suite 12.2 Applications Technology Stack,

 

 

After an upgrade some users intermittently cannot log in. In many cases after allowing some time to pass (15-30 minutes), when they try again the login is successful.

The users may get different errors, but the most common is 'HTTP 404 error' when attempting to login.

There are no issues when only a few users are on the system, but once released to all users the the login error frequency increases.

the following error occurs for these intermittent login error:

HTTP 404 - Not Found

The following error will appear in the oacore_serverx.out logs:

<oracle.as.cache.CacheInternal.000DEFAULT_CONTEXT$$> <BEA-000000>
<oracle.ias.cache.CacheFullException: J2EE JOC-017 The cache is full.

Changes

An upgrade was recently performed, but the issue may also occur in other cases.
