Null Pointer Exception When Accessing FTI Dashboard Link on a Custom Menu (Doc ID 2251768.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

When accessing the FTI dashboard using a user created link in the menu, the following exception is observed:

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
It is expected that the FTI dashboard is accessed successfully with no errors

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

1. Create a link to the DASH_BOARD menu element in a user menu.
i. Navigate to Configuration and Administration -> Menu Manager and select to edit the respective user menu
ii. Give a name to the link and select Data Entry
iii. Select DASH_BOARD for the OTM URL. This should link to the relative URL path of /servlets/glog.advancedanalytics.web.servlet.LaunchDashboard?type=dashboard
iv. Save the menu
2. Login with the user associated to that menu
3. Click the newly created link.
4. The error is observed.
