Symptoms

When sending deliveries to OTM via Shipping Transportation Outbound Interface, the following error occurs:


ERROR

Unexpected Error: Error in Routine WSH_OTM_OUTBOUND.GET_DELIVERY_OBJECTS,
Oracle Error - -22814 ORA-22814: attribute or element value is larger than specified in type </errorMessage>



STEPS

1. Order Management Super User Responsibility
2. Order Organizer > Create new sales order and book
3. Shipping > Release Sales Orders where delivery details are pick released and assigned to a delivery.
4. Shipping > Transactions > Query Orders.
5. Specify Lot numbers for the items being shipped. The lot number will have a length greater than 32 characters
6. Run the Shipping Transportation Outbound Interface concurrent request to send deliveries to OTM.
7. Shipping Transportation Outbound Interface ends in error and deliveries are not sent to OTM.
8. XML Transmission shows error in addition to the Parent an Child Requests of the STOI.
