12.2 E-Business Suite Applications Manager Non SSL HTTP URL Displayed When Selecting Self Service / HTML OAM Client Links (Like Workflow Or License Manager) Causing 'Page Not Found' Errors (Doc ID 2257838.1)

Symptoms

E-Business Suite 12.2 Applications Manager, HTML OAM Client related issues

 



After E-Business Suite 12.2 was configured to use SSL/TLS per <Note 1367293.1>, all https connections to the login page work correctly.

However after logging in, some users are directed to the Oracle Applications Manager HomePage Dashboard.

When one clicks on a self-service (HTML OAM client) menu item like the Workflow or License Manager, the page fails due to an http URL address being referenced.

As a result the page does not appear, but if the URL is manually changed from http to https then the page opens successfully.

The issue occurs with all HTML self service pages (SSWA Workflow, License Manager etc) on the Oracle Applications Manager HomePage Dashboard.

All the URLs should be using https when configured with SSL / TLS, and not forwarding users to http URLs.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Configure SSL / TLS per <Note 1367293.1>.
2. Run autoconfig to populate the changes.
3. Access EBS Self service pages.

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users are unable to access the self service pages properly.
