Questions about Outside Processing (OSP), Batch Steps, and Receiving (Doc ID 2260380.1)

Goal

1. When OSP Batch is created, requisition import is done by running 'requisition import' program and then PO gets created automatically as the items are linked to Blanket Purchase Agreement in ASL.

Question is :
Is it expected the OSP Batch Step(associated to OSP Item) to COMPLETE/ CLOSE automatically, when receiving this PO in the destination org?

OR

When  COMPLETE/CLOSE the Batch Step(associated to OSP Item), then should the Receipt be expected to happen automatically?

OR
Both statements above are not true and therefore is it needed to do manual receipt and also do manual COMPLETING/CLOSING batch step?
