Last updated on AUGUST 20, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Project Costing - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When running PAGCAE module: PRC: Generate Cost Accounting Events, the following rejection is encountered:

Rejection Reason : Original transaction is not accounted in final mode

The PRC: Generate Cost Accounting Events process is failing on these transactions as the system_reference5 column of the pa_cost_distribution_lines table is not getting populated (i.e. is NULL) during the "PRC: Distribute Supplier Cost Adjustments" process.

This column value (cdl.system_reference5) is used to derive the cr ccid for line # 2 in the package PA_XLA_INTERFACE_PKG (procedure POPULATE_ACCT_SOURCE) during the "PRC: Generate Cost Accounting Events" process.
