12.2 E-Business Suite Applications Technology Stack Users Recieve Error 'FND_LAUNCH_FAILED' at The Second (2nd) Time While Open Forms Twice From A Framework Page (Doc ID 2274001.1)

In 12.2, opening a form twice from an OA Framework (FWK) page got the following FND_LAUNCH_FAILED error at the second time though the form launched successfully.

 

Error
The FormsLauncher failed to connect to the existing forms session properly. A modal window may be open in the existing forms session, or your session may have become invalid.

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

1. Log in EBS, in the homepage, select responsibility.

2. Launch any form, it will be launched in the middle browser window and the forms window.

3. After forms launched, click the browser page (Navigate), and launch another form.

4. The form launched, but in the browser a new tab launched which shows the error.

 Note in some cases a new browser tab / window shows with the following error, however, the forms launched successfully.

Changes

 The issue occurs when using JRE 1.8 and setting 'Accessibility Features' to 'Standard' or 'Screen Reader Optimized'.
