QA Check Error : An Error Occurred in the QA Process while Trying to Delete the Contract's Negative Version

When attempting to run QA check, throws following error.

An error occurred in the QA process while trying to delete the contract's negative version. Please contact your support representative.

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
Navigate to Service Contracts Manager -> Contracts Administrator -> Launch Pad -> Search for the Contract -> Open the Service Contract which is QA_HOLD
Go to  Actions -> Check QA
