E-AS: Linux RedHat OS Patch '2.6.32-696.3.2.el6.x86_64 (with 9.2 glibc)' results in PSAPPSRV and PSPRCSRV exceptions (Doc ID 2281035.1)

Symptoms

After applying Linux Operating Patch 2.6.32-696.3.2.el6.x86_64 (with 9.2 glibc) application server domain servers such as PSAPPSRV and PSPRCSRV are generating exceptions (crash).

The stack trace for these servers is unique, as seen in process_state, and look like:

 

Changes

 Linux OS patch applied to RedHat   2.6.32-696.3.2.el6.x86_64 (with 9.2 glibc).   Has also been seen with OS Patch '3.10.0-514.10.2.el7.x86_64
