Problem Statement:

"Further Entry Information" deleted after updating absence reason using API (HR_PERSON_ABSENCE_API.UPDATE_PERSON_ABSENCE) or the "Absence Detail" form.

 Steps to Reproduce:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1.  Create absence record with Further Entry Information using Batch Element Entries (BEE).
  2.  Update Absence reason using API (HR_PERSON_ABSENCE_API.UPDATE_PERSON_ABSENCE) or Absence Detail form.
  3.  Value of "Further Entry Information" is deleted.
