CIP Asset: TRANSACTION_DATE_ENTERED Is Set Amortization Start Date When Adding Source Line with Amortization (Doc ID 2284746.1)

Goal

When adding Source Line with Amortization Start Date as CIP ADJUSTMENT, TRANSACTION_DATE_ENTERED is set Amortization Start Date although TRANSACTION_SUBTYPE is EXPENSED.

Steps to Reproduce

1.  2018-04 *** Addition CIP asset

2.  2018-04 *** Add Source Line with Amortization Start Date to CIP asset

    Amortized Adjustment        : Yes
    Amortization Start Date     : 01-JAN-2018 <--Here
    Line Amount                 : 2000

    FA_TRANSACTION_HEADERS ***
    TRANSACTION    TRANSACTION  AMORTIZATION CALLING   TRANSACTION
    TYPE_CODE      DATE_ENTERED START_DATE   INTERFACE SUBTYPE

TRANSACTION_DATE_ENTERED is set "01-JAN-2018" which is Amortization Start Date although TRANSACTION_SUBTYPE is EXPENSED.

Usually, TRANSACTION_DATE_ENTERED is set the calendar open day when TRANSACTION_SUBTYPE is EXPENSED.
(Ex)TRANSACTION_DATE_ENTERED should be set "01-APR-2018" which is the calendar open day
