Currency User Preference Associated with the Users Is Not Honored On Workbench Finder Results

Symptoms
Users are assigned with User Preferences with Currency preference set to a Currency Code other than USD (For Example CNY). When User accesses Shipment information from Buy Shipment Screen, among the results displayed the currency is displayed in CNY. But When Users access the same information in a Workbench, Currency is still displayed in USD.
