HR Professional V4.0 And Manager Self-Service - Switch Manager Functionality Is Not Showing Appraisal Record as Expected (Doc ID 2299984.1)

Symptoms

Issue 1 - In HR Professional V4.0 - Switch Manager Doesn't Display Any Of The Appraisals Of Any Of The Subordinates Of The Switched Manager

 

On 12.2.7 version of Application, In the Performance Management Page under HR Professional Responsibility.

Observed that, In HR Professional V4.0 after using Switch Manager and go into Manage Appraisal Task, Appraisal Of Appraisee is not displayed.

 

Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

       1. Login using "HR Professional V4.0" Responsibility.

       2. Navigate to Function "Performance Management".

       3. Click on "Switch as Manager" button and in the launched page use advance search to search an Manager Employee.

       4. Click on the "Action" icon against the returned Manager Record.

       5. In the launched "Appraisal" page, click on the "Manage Appraisal" task against one of the Appraisal Plan.

       6. Observe that, in the launched page no Appraisee or Subordinates Appraisal record were displayed.

 

Issue 2 - In Manager Self Service - Switch Manager Shows People In Hierarchy Of Logged In Person and Not the Switched Person)

 

On 12.2.5 version of the application, In the Performance Management Page.

Observed that, In Manager Self-Service after using Switch Manager and go into Manage Appraisal Task, that the People in Hierarchy shown are the Subordinates reporting to the logged in user and not the Subordinates of the Switched Manager.

 

Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

       1. Login using a manager Login.

       2. Navigate to Manager Self Service --> Performance Management

       3. Using the "Switch Manager" function switched to a Subordinate who is manager of some employees down the hierarchy.

       4. Now when visited the Manage Appraisal Task, it shows only the subordinates of the logged in person.

       5. Expected it will show the Persons who are subordinates of the switched person.
