Unable to Update Job Description (Doc ID 2302095.1)

Symptoms

Problem Statement:

When attempting to update Job description and save in Job form, it is not saving the change and following message appears when closing the form.

Do you want to save the changes you have made?

 

 When attempting to update job description with the API(hr_job_api.update_job), following error occurs.

ORA-20001: FLEX-COMBINATION HAS EXPIRED, ORA-0652: at “APPS.HR_JOB_API”, line 1621, ORA-06512: at line 15

 

 

Steps to Reproduce:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps on the Job form:

  1.  Open the Job form.
     (N) Work Structures > Job > Description > Search for the job.
  2.  Update the information (e.g. End-Date, Approval Authority)
  3.  Save
  4.  Confirmation message does not appear in the status bar and when trying to close the form, message appears.
