ORA-12899 Error When Deploying a Rest Custom Service (Doc ID 2302443.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.2.6 version, Installation Issues

When attempting to deploy a custom service ,
the following error occurs.

ERROR
-----------------------
Error encountered in remote method.oracle.apps.fnd.isg.common.error.ISGException : Error in updating Exception Info for class name = CUSTOM_PKG_NAME java.sql.SQLException :
ORA-12899: value too large for column "<schema>"."FND_SOA_SERVICE_DT_ERRORS"."OPERATION" (actual: 1455, maximum: 30)

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Integrated SOA Gateway
2. Integration Repository
3. Find the service
4. Click on Deploy
